Gansbaai’s fight for the World Record
Thursday, May 5th, 2011On June 16 2011, Gansbaai was once again in the focus of all Guiness Book fundis around the globe – when the town was fighting for the title of world’s largest ‘Perlemoen Potjie’, a very traditional kind of stew with famous Abalone snails, apart from South Africa known particularly in the Asian world as a very precious delicacy, a bit similar to scallops. Well done, Gansbaai!
