Map to Crayfish Lodge

From Cape Town/Hermanus/Stanford on the N 2 / R 43

(including coming from the Garden Route on the N 2)

Coming from Cape Town (about 165 km in total), you reach our area “Overberg” and Walker Bay best taking the N 2.

From Cape Town International Airport (about 145 km in total), drive direction “Somerset West”, which will automatically lead you onto the N 2. Stay on the N 2 through Somerset West, over ‘Sir Lowry’s Pass’ and ‘Howhoek Pass”. Then follow the signs and exit left to Hermanus on the R 43. Pass Hermanus and Stanford towards Gansbaai.

From Garden Route N 2
Coming from the Garden Route, always keep following the N 2 towards Caledon. Once you passed Riviersonderend by 13 km, watch out for the sign towards Stanford; turn left there onto the R 326. After 28 km, cross the R 316 (do not turn). After another 27 km you reach Stanford, where you turn left onto the R 43.

The Final Stretch
At the second turn-off to De Kelders turn right from the main road R 43 into De Kelders (sign “De Kelders / Standford’s Cove”). Thereafter, continue to the Four-Way-Stop, turn left into Hoofweg and simply follow our signs (take the next road to turn right into Retreat Street and then right again into Killarney Street (cul-de-sac)). Drive up the hill, Crayfish Lodge is the last house on the left hand (sea-)side.

From Elim/Baardskerdersbos/Gansbaai on the R 43:

Leave Gansbaai towards Hermanus. After approximately 700 m take the first turn-off to “Perlemoen Bay” (sign). Then take the next road right into Hoofweg. Then follow our signs; turn left at the second road (Retreat Street) and then right again into Killarney Street (cul-de-sac). Drive up the hill, Crayfish Lodge is the last house on the left hand (sea-)side.
