We recommend firstly, Transo in Northern Norway, where you can go on a fishing boat into the still waters of the Arctic Ocean – it has unspoilt, raw beauty. Secondly, we recommend Crofftan in Contref, in the Brecon Beacons of Wales. Nestled at the foot of Pen-y-fan, this converted barn has charm aplenty, and makes an ideal ‘nest’ for the weary walker who has explored the green, wild paths through the welsh mountains. If you love Crayfish Lodge and De Kelders, then there are two more places for you to explore.
