There are many ways of watching the whales.

Walker Bay and especially De Kelders, opposite Hermanus, is considered to be the best shore based whale watching site in the world. In whale season, from June until December, you will enjoy observing these peaceful giants right on our doorstep from scenic cliff path walks or even your own private terrace. The rocky coastline with overhanging cliffs are natural lookout points to view the whales. They often come so close to shore that the visitors can see the warts on their bodies.

Or book a cruise with one of the local whale watching boats and discover these incredible animals in their natural habitat.

The best way however might be to book our “Whale Watching Air Adventure” – fly exclusively with our commercial pilot and his 4 seater Cessna and see many of the whales and sharks from the bird’s perspecitve – amazing!
